The Universal Restaurant, "UR" (pronounced ‘Oor’) idea was born as a small for-profit business to financially support low-income single parents, especially those with children. The idea later started to grow into helping other low-income families, students that need to pay off loans and rent, or older people who might enjoy some company, as well as a beautiful meal, people bored with time to spare, and a passion worth sharing, people with high cooking skills, creativity and abilities who might not have a chance to make money out of it. Or maybe those who know how to start, but don’t have an initial budget to start with. Most importantly, setting up a successful restaurant has its own difficulties; finding the right place, the right staff, or other hassles. UR operates the UR App under the name of Sage Plus, Inc, a California corporation in the United States of America.
